  1. accurately list the number of unread articles

    I've been using FeedSpot for a couple weeks now and I regularly get to the bottom of a feed but FS tells me I have unread articles. SOMETIMES, if I click over to another feed and then back to the first it'll load additional articles. More often, FS will tell me I have no unread articles, yet there is a number > 0 next to the name of the feed in the left hand window. Please fix.

  3. Can you guys add "add new site" option

    Hi! Atm you can only import your rss list from file or google. But you cant add manually new sites.

    And this unread and read difference can be better too. Google reader was perfect rss reader in web.

  4. Fix Find Friends Page

    No email validation. I can type in an invalid email address and it still doesn't give me any errors. Also, how can you find friends that might already have signed up for Feedspot so you don't need to invite them.

    I entered the email address of a friend to invite them to feedspot, but they didn't get any emails/invites about it. Not sure why...

  6. Grey out read items

    You need a visual way to differentiate already read articles while in list view and viewing all. Feedly does this, google reader does this. This is a critical feature for me.

  7. Allow reordering of single feeds along folders

    Hi, I wish I could be able to move feeds that aren't inside a folder to between folders or above them.

  8. Full text search for words in items (articles), more than feeds or users

    The first thing I need in search is a full text search for words inside the items/articles I've gathered. Then eventually, search for feeds!

  11. Bug with duplicated blog entries

    Some blogs (most of it - on CMS Wordpress) have duplicated entries in feedspot - please solve this problem. Other RSS readers dont have this bug.

  12. Leave the unread messages in bold but the other ones in regular type

    I think that it would be a great improvement for the UX if the titles of the feeds that we already read were in regular type instead of bold, because now what distinguish the unread feeds from the the read ones is the small blue triangle in the top right corner (in list view). That doesn't help when you just want to quickly scan the list for an interesting subject.

  13. RSS feed for Favorites

    It was a damned usefull feature in Google Reader: public pages with feeds. Feed for Fav orites (starred items) and feeds for tags!

  14. the "Shared" button deos not work

    If I click "Sites" on the main page, the on the "Shared" button on the left sides, I did not go to "Shared" posts.

    I think that Feedspot also needs an real mobile version(a web page, not an app), compatible with devices like old-nokia cellphones and portable gaming consoles (like the Nintendo 3DS)

  16. Make the feeds list more compact

    We can see to few feeds at once on little screen. Would it be possible to make the list more compact? There is a lot of white space between the lines.

  17. Tags for items (news) and RSS feed for tags

    Like in Google Reader it would be damned usefull to have the ability to tag items (articles) and then getting RSS feed for each tag!!!

  19. Bugs Google Reader folders / feeds import

    Quite a number of exported folders + their contents) have NOT been imported from my Google Reader export by Feedspot, which makes it quite unreliable for someone like me who has/had tons of subscriptions and scores of GR folders.

    On a side note, accents are not imported from Google Reader folder names and accented characters are deleted (instead of being replaced by non-accented ones).

  20. Avoiding character corruption from Japanese blog entries

    Feedspot displays the head of each blog entries, and sometime may be confused which encoding she/he should use with Japanese blog entries. (It looks that she/he displays entries with latin-1.)
    Hense, characters of some (and not all) of entries are corrupted.
