I like many things about your reader, but it is terribly slow at making new posts available compared some others that I'm testing as Google Reader replacements.

It should remember the format in witch you see the news.
Every time I get in, I have to switch to see new articles in list mode, it should remember it!

Remove excess whitespace to left and right
You have the feed list and feed items centered in the middle of the page while tons of whitespace clogs up the left and right of my screen. Can't you do it like Google Reader? Have the feed list be left-justified and have the feed items themselves take up the rest of the window. The excess whitespace and forcing people to click through to read the full article are the reasons I hated Google+ so much.

Feedspot bookmarklet to allow for instant subscription to the rss feed of the opened window
This already exists with Google Reader (even if their bookmarklet is very basic).
To me, ideally, the result would be the opening of a "menu window" in the same fashion as the Evernote "clip to evernote" bookmarklet (one can then choose the title, destination folder and more)
This would also allow Feedspot users to subscribe directly through one keyboard shortcut (in Safari, Camino, Firefox, etc.)

Add an option to modify the feed's name
Some sites write a full sentence instead of just their name so when we look at the list of feeds we cannot clearly identify them.

Hide/resize sidebar
It will be great if user shoud resize sidebar size or hide it.
Feedspot is a great alternative to netbooks, better than feedly and others

That's basic but you don't have it still. An it'sdeeply usefull!

Unfollow bug
Hi,
I've encountered a bug where I have unfollowed a feed I've imported from google reader, but when I follow another site, the unfollowed feed gets added back.
The problematic site: www.keshel.com.

Improve "add feed" function
Importing from other reader, en masse, great. Adding new feeds as they are discovered one by one is a pain.

Fix Sounds Playing In Background?

Enable reordering of folders in My Feeds
I've imported the OPML from my Google Reader, which has has many folders, but only a single level hierarchy (i.e. the feeds are inside the folder, and there are no folders within folders).
The first preference would be to support an automated ordering of folders, i.e. alphabetical.
Failing that, the folders should be reorderable via drag-and-drop. The UI initially seems set up to do that, but it's not working at the moment.

Make keyboard shortcut keys work in Firefox if you have 'Search for text when I start typing' enabled
When using Feedspot in Firefox with the 'search for text when I start typing' functionality enabled (Tools > Options > General tab), the Feedspot keyboard shortcuts do not work because Firefox interprets these keystrokes as text to search for rather than passing the keystrokes on to Feedspot to interpret as shortcut commands.
Can you please consider fixing this issue? I'm coming from Bloglines where this functionality worked OK in Firefox, would be fantastic if you could get it to work in Feedspot.

Full Posts vs Abridged Posts
Right now, it seems feed items are being abridged and forcing users to "click through" to the site to read an entire article. Is there a way to make posts that would otherwise show up as full posts in Reader show up as full posts in Feedspot?
